Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this role has a global reach and will be pivotal in supporting the delivery of Höegh Evi’s growth plans. It's an exciting time to join with the opportunity to help shape and create an HR function for the future. You will lead the Manila team of HR professionals to provide precise, compliant and scalable HR operations to the business, advise and execute on HR issues across the whole employee life cycle, and partner with senior leaders. You will have an analytical approach, a keen eye for detail and the ability to lead a high performing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team leadership of a globally distributed HR team
  • Broad experience and a passion for delivering an excellent employee experience
  • Delivery across the entire employee life cycle including talent acquisition & retention, recruitment, compensation & benefits, payroll, compliance & audits, HR data analytics & reporting
  • Collaborate with our People Leaders, both in Norway and internationally on global HR themes such as recruitment, performance management, organizational design, employee engagement, rewards- and workforce planning
  • Collaborate with the Head of L&D and the Head of the Executive Office to create inclusive processes across all regions
  • Aligned with Business Strategy, adopt and embed Höegh Evi’s Ai Strategy within the HR team and drive efficiencies through digitalization
  • Project Management: Design new policies and deliver on business-critical HR related projects globally
  • Responsible for HR Administrative processes, including managing and developing HR practices across Höegh Evi’s global offices
  • Present at Höegh Evi events to clearly articulate Höegh Evi HR practices and strategic direction

About You:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent practical experience
  • 10+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Generalist providing consultations to the business on topics that span the employee life cycle
  • Able to develop high performing teams: 5+ years of experience in people management, across geographies in an international setting
  • Enjoys new technology and digitalization of ways of working and communicating. Well trained and daily use of several software programs and HR systems.
  • Adopt agile principles to ensure prioritization of HR’s existing capacity and swift reallocation of resources when needed, enabling fundamentally faster rate of change in the business and with people and how they work.
  • Experience in employment laws, regulations and labour relations
  • Management Consulting experience is a definite asset (2-5 years in a consulting role)

Interpersonal skills: Excellent communication and a high level of fluency in English in addition to the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively across all levels of the organisation.

You can interpret data, put it into context and provide clear documentation and communication to reflect your analysis. Höegh Evi is a hybrid work environment requiring 4 days a week in the office. Residents living within the greater Oslo region will be given priority.
